Ivorian footballer Kolo Abib Touré was born on March 19, 1981. Just like his younger brother Yaya Toure, Kolo started his career at ASEC Mimosas. He later went on to play for top clubs like Arsenal, Man City and Liverpool. He currently plays for Scottish club, Celtic.
Being the second most capped player for Ivory Coast, Kolo has represented his country in seven African cup of Nations competitions and three World cup tournaments. Some of his achievements include:

- Scottish Premiership, 2016-17
- Scottish League Cup, 2016–17
- Two time FA Cup winner (2002–03, and 2004–05)
Kolo is also one of the six players who have won the English Premier League with two different clubs (Man City and Arsenal). In 2015, the Ivorian defender and father of two announced his retirement from international football.
