Cameroon’s Anglophone crisis; US Members of Congress speak out.

           Members of congress in the US have written a letter on the to the US States Department, with respect to the ongoing unrest in Cameroon’s two English-speaking regions.

 

 

 

 

The letter was addressed to Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and signed by Anthony G. Brown and Jarsie Raskin.

Congressman Anthony later on tweeted about it, saying he was concerned about the Anglophone population.

Many Cameroonians have been responding to his tweet, including opposition MP, Joseph Wirba who stormed parliament some days back.

The unrest in Cameroon’s Anglophone regions began in November last year, leading to a series of arrests and summons.
